Description | System for fencing I/O channels of failed nodes in a cluster with shared hardware. It consists of a daemon running on the cluster nodes and so called fencing agents. Upon detection of a node failure the daemon invokes one or more configured agents to fence the node off of the shared hardware. This is a required facility for shared filesystems like GFS. |
