| Description | Shibboleth provides a federated authorization and attribute exchange framework using the OASIS SAML v1.1 protocol. It provides web-based single sign-on across or within organizational boundaries and allows sites to make informed authorization decisions for individual access of protected online resources while letting them establish their identities with their own local authentication systems. .
