Description | ClamCour is a Courier filter that allows Clam Antivirus to scan incoming mail for viruses, and rejects it if check is positive. . ClamCour is target-specific as it is written specifically for the Courier MTA which makes for better performance and is more light on CPU and memory resources compared to e.g. amavisd-new which, on the other hand, is more flexible (works with several MTAs) and more feature-rich. . ClamCour is written in C++ and is multi-threaded. . It is highly recommended that clamav-freshclam is installed together with ClamCour to provide an up-to-date ClamAV virus definition database. |
